The children become familiar with the history at the National Museum, and draw the mosaic “The Beauty of Durrës”.

The National Historical Museum has not reduced the pace of its activities, even during the summer holidays of August. The main hall and courtyard of the National Historical Museum was full of childish voices this weekend. In collaboration with the Educational Programs’ Sector, a group of children from kindergarten “Smile”, accompanied by teachers visited the premises of our museum. Through detailed explanations of curators, children were introduced to important epochs in the Albanian history, beginning from antiquity, Middle Ages, National Renaissance until to the present days. During visiting the Pavilion of Antiquity, they were focused at the mosaic “The Beauty of Durrës”.

They showed curiosity for everything that was exposed in the showcases of pavilions. At the end of the guide children went at the courtyard of the museum. In a corner prepared for them, they found colored pencils and letter where was printed the mosaic “The Beauty of Durrës”. Each child individually concretized in this way their impressions of the visit at the National Historical Museum.
