One of the first institutions that the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nobuo Kishi visited in our country was the National Historical Museum. He was in our capital to participate in the opening ceremony of the Japanese Embassy in Albania, as well as the Japanese’s government’s donation ceremony of 129 last-generation vehicles. But it would not end there. Mr. Makoto Ito, the first Japanese ambassador to Albania, accompanied the State Minister for Foreign Affairs on his visit to our Museum’s pavilions. During his visit, Mr. Nobuo Kishi was also accompanied by Mr. Dorian Koçi, Director of National Historical Museum, and Mr. Ledio Xhoxhi, Head of the Collection Management Sector. Mr. Koci and Mr. Xhoxhi introduced the honored guest with the history of Albania from antiquity to the period of communist genocide, throughout all seven pavilions of the Museum. Minister Kishi showed a huge interest in all the objects and periods represented in our Museum and at the end of his visit, he left an appreciative note in the Museum’s book of impressions.
