“The coffer”… Kristi Baba invites us to his personal exhibition at National Historical Museum.

“When I started this round I was really in chaos. There were many images in my head that waved quickly around me in a strange way, and it was difficult to see something clear and concrete. But working out some sketches, something began to become obvious and more specific. They were objects of our daily life, just as we see our body where these objects are intertwined with each other by conveying complex memories, but also the image of a memory that I wiped out on a coffer. Everyone has his own coffer. Nothing is absolute and each one of us has its own pieces, which are quite interesting from how they lived. These little pieces are gathered to conceive your identity, an original face for which you are looking for. These pieces of past memories are elements that can specify every stage, and whatever it is, each piece belongs to you, which, as long as you collect it, you guard it fanatically. These snippets shape what we want as they enter a box and are stored in it as a sacred jewel and no one has the right to step towards it without you giving them the honor and opportunity”, describes Kristi Baba in his personal exhibition. This event was opened on the evening of 7th September, in the premises of National Historical Museum. Director Koçi, praising Kristi’s exhibition, said that his inner emotion is beautifully displayed in each 55 works. “He plays with the female portrait in a graphical way and you can sense the treatment of black and white element. In the near future, Kristi will undoubtedly be seen in many other exhibitions”, said Mr. Koci.
