In the Scandinavian world, he is simply known as “Daja”. But his real name is Sadulla Zeneli. He has published 15 books in novels and poetry and is known as the architect of several dictionaries, where the most important is the “Albanian-Swedish” dictionary, with 35 000 words.
This great personality was welcomed by the director of National Historical Museum, Mr. Melsi Labi. During their warm conversation, Mr. Labi magnified not only the author’s gift to Museum, but also his creativity and contribution to the Albanian cause.
Sadulla Zeneli is from Gostivar and has been living in Sweden for 50 years. He is known as the patriot who has worked hard for the Albanian cause.
He is also recognized as the man who opened the first Albanian school in Sweden. He is the chairman of the Union of Albanian Associations in Sweden and on the 80th anniversary and was awarded
“Honorary Citizen of Gostivar”. He is known with the nickname “Daja” since the Yugoslavian regime.
“Albanian-Swedish” dictionary took more than 8 years of hard work from the the author’s life. It contains general words and expressions of the lexicon with special interpretations in Swedish. It has 35,000 words, distributed in 1512 pages.
