In the center of Tirana, on the evening of July 19th, a special event would grant a few enthusiastic notes to our capital’s artistic life. A Ladies orchestra, directed by a unique lady, would bring its best repertoire for Albanian artlovers. “Bucharest Ladies Orchestra” left the Romanian capital in order to perform not only in Tirana, but also in Berat and Korça. The initiator of this artistic event was Arlinda Morava, an Albanian soprano, who is now known as one of the most promising vocals in the world of opera art. The host of this artistic event was National Historical Museum, which prepared all necessary infrastructure, in collaboration with Municipality of Tirana. The Bucharest Ladies Orchestra, with 30 instrumentalists from Bucharest, conducted by Ozana Barabancea, performed at this event not only with soprano Morava, but also with Romanian tenor, affirmed with a series of international awards, Alfredo Pascu and other Albanian guests such as pianist Klejda Tare and violinist Lorenc Radovani. The whole concert was conceptualized as an evening-show, under the moderation of Aurora Ymeri, where besides the opera, were performed other genres of music such as musical, tango, waltz and jazz rhythms.
